Dr. Malarvily Krishnamoorthy completed her Bachelor of Science with honors at York University. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2014. During her clinical rotations, she did her externships at multiple private practices in both Pennsylvania and Ontario which allowed her to gain skills in contact lenses, LASIK and other refractive surgeries. She also completed her externships at the ophthalmology department at University of Maryland and Allentown VA outpatient clinic where she developed vast knowledge in diagnosis and management of ocular diseases. She also did her specialized pediatric rotation at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia where she gained extensive experience performing comprehensive eye exams, binocular vision assessments and vision therapy management in the pediatric population.

Since graduating in 2014, she practiced in Peterborough for 2 years and moved back to GTA to practice where she grew up. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists. She is fluent in English and Tamil and can perform eye examinations in both languages.
